Greater Together: Metro Phoenix + East Valley = More than 55,000 Total Youth Served

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix and Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley have merged to better serve the Greater Phoenix community.

Why Are Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix and East Valley Coming Together?

Starting in 2020, Boys & Girls Club of East Valley-Metro Phoenix (BGCEVMP)* will serve more than 16,000 members across the Valley and an additional 40,000 other youth in 27 Clubs, making it one of the largest Boys & Girls Clubs organizations in the nation and one of the largest youth-serving organizations in all of Arizona.

The principles behind this merger are to serve more kids and serve kids better. Here's how:

Deepen Organizational Health

Eliminate redundancies in operations and increase our evaluation and outreach to move the organization in the direction of its goals.

Strategic Partnerships

Deepen our partnerships with school districts, measure outcomes and pilot initiatives to help our youth succeed.

Expand collaborations with the USDA, State agencies, and nonprofits and work toward meaningful and lasting change in the lives of the families we serve.

Expansion of Existing Programs

Cohesive implementation of programs will allow for better evaluation of programs at scale, providing an opportunity for informed decision making and program development.

Leveraged Marketing & Resource Development

Continue to expand our long-term relationships with many corporations and foundations.

Engage with donors, partners and volunteers in more meaningful ways.

Clearly market our programs to families and schools.

Advocacy: A Leading Voice For Youth

Together, our organization is able to focus on leading the conversation around youth development, educational enrichment, and the critical importance of out-of-school time programming for youth and families.
