Tax circumstances are different for everyone: ask your tax adviser if you are eligible for the Arizona Qualifying Charitable Tax Credit and/or Public School Tax Credit for the year. Please consult your tax adviser regarding federal income tax.

Can you explain Arizona tax credits? How is a "tax credit" different from a "tax deduction"?

The short answer is this: tax credits help you save more money when it comes to paying income taxes. The longer answer... A tax deduction can only lower your taxable income and the tax rate that is used to calculate your tax obligation. A tax credit reduces how much you owe, giving you a larger refund of your withholding. But certain tax credits can give you a refund even if you have no withholding. You can read more at IRS.gov, but it might be easier to understand if you look on YouTube!
