Families looking for safe, enriching, and affordable summer options for their kids have a new reason to get excited. The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley’s “Summer of Possibilities” is now open for registration, offering a full 10 weeks of engaging, all-day programming for youth ages 5–12.
Lemonade Day is a real-world learning experience where youth set goals, make a plan, and run their own lemonade stand, gaining skills in budgeting, marketing, and customer service. Club kids also learn a powerful life lesson: how to earn, save, and share—keeping some of their profits while choosing to give back to causes they care about.
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley (BGCAZ) is proud to announce Makaya C. and Aurora A. as the 2026 recipients of the Chloe Jacobsen Scholarship, an annual scholarship recognizing East Valley Club members who demonstrate leadership, resilience, collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and a commitment to community service. Each recipient will receive $12,500 in scholarship support to help pursue their academic goals.
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley proudly announces that Aurora A., a teen leader from the Chandler Compadres Branch, has been named Arizona State Youth of the Year, the highest honor awarded to a Boys & Girls Club member at the state level. Aurora was recognized for her leadership, academic achievement, service, and commitment to a healthy lifestyle, and will now represent Arizona in the regional Youth of the Year competition.
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley (BGCAZ) youth will benefit from a new national partnership between USA Pickleball and Boys & Girls Clubs of America that will expand access to pickleball programming nationwide. Launching in Arizona, the initiative will provide starter kits, equipment, and training resources to all 75 Clubs across the state, reaching more than 50,000 young people with opportunities to play, connect, and build confidence through sport.
