UPDATED HEALTH & SAFETY AT STARS

BGCAZ is looking forward to celebrating Today’s Kids, Tomorrow’s Stars with you. We have been closely following the CDC and the County’s guidelines around gatherings and we feel that we can provide our guests with a safe and engaging experience, while keeping everyone safe. Due to the decrease in the number of cases and updated protocols, we are following these guidelines.

The Westin Resort does not require masks. Their staff members and servers will be wearing masks during the event and service. Guests are encouraged to wear masks to their level of comfort.

BGCAZ’s Safety Event Operation Plan

The safety of our guests is our priority and we are taking precautions to ensure an enjoyable and safe evening. The room and experiences have been redesigned to avoid crowded check-in areas, silent auction clusters and end of evening check-out.

Upon Arrival

Guests may valet or self-park and we have outdoor check-in.

Hand sanitizing stations will be available and guests should wear masks to their level of comfort.

Reception

The cocktail reception will be held both in the Westin’s foyer and the outdoor patio. The silent auction will be online and guests may begin viewing items five (5) days before Stars.

Dinner and Program

Tables of ten (10) will be spaced out in the ballroom; and we will limit the number of tables. Additional table arrangements will be available at sponsor’s request.

Post-Event

Guests will leave the ballroom and make their way to valet or the after-party. Payments for all item purchases and donations will be handled online.

Early entrance/exit accommodations will be made for any guest needing extra time or space. Please contact Jen at jennifer.ensley@bgcaz.org if accommodations are needed.

With 26 locations, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley is known around the community. Individuals, businesses, schools, teams and community groups come together throughout the year to raise much needed funds and more awareness of who we are and what we do for families who need a safe place for their children to go during out-of-school time.

If you are interested in hosting a Fundraiser, please review our Special Events Application and Agreement and complete the application prior to hosting your event. For questions on how to get started, contact Jennifer Ensley at jennifer.ensley@bgcaz.org or 602-343-1222.
