Taylor M. | Bob Bove Branch

Seventeen-year-old Taylor McElroy, a senior at Agua Fria High School and member of the Bob Bové Branch, embodies resilience and quiet leadership. After facing painful bullying in childhood, she found comfort in animals, strength on the basketball court, and eventually a second home at the Boys & Girls Club.

At the Club, Taylor grew from a shy newcomer into a confident mentor, helping younger members, supporting staff, and volunteering in the learning center, games room, and art room. Her kindness, responsibility, and reliability set her apart.

A standout athlete in basketball and softball, Taylor also gives back through food drives, charity events, and campus volunteering. She balances school, sports, Club involvement, and family responsibilities with impressive maturity.

Taylor hopes to build a future centered around animals and caretaking, carrying forward the compassion that helped her grow.
