Every child deserves the chance to play, grow, and thrive through sports. The 2nd Chance Sports Gear Drive is more than just collecting equipment—it’s about unlocking opportunities for kids across the Valley. Thanks to generous community donations, young athletes gain access to the gear they need to participate in team sports, build confidence, and develop lifelong skills.
Phoenix, Arizona – Celebrating its 20th year, Bank of America’s signature Neighborhood Builders® program continues to be one of the nation’s largest philanthropic investments into nonprofit leadership development, while providing unique, multiyear, flexible grant funding annually to two high-impact nonprofits in nearly 100 communities nationwide. In Phoenix, Bank of America has named Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley and Child Crisis Arizona as its 2024 Neighborhood Builders for their work building career pathways and providing comprehensive services to children, youth and families within the Valley’s population.
The new Center of Hope at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley opened on Thursday, Nov. 14 at the Ed Robson Family Branch in north Phoenix. The grand opening celebration of the renovated learning space was made possible by a $45,000 grant from the Panda Cares Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Panda Express, and boasted a check presentation and ribbon cutting ceremony.
The Taco Bell Foundation is proud to announce a donation of $30,800 to Boys & Girls Club of the Valley’s Yuma Branch. This generous contribution underscores Taco Bell Foundation’s ongoing commitment to empowering youth and supporting local communities.
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley (BGCAZ) announced its sponsorship of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Child and Adult Care Food Program administered by the Arizona Department of Education, Community Nutrition Programs. Meals will be made available to enrolled participants at no separate charge without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.
