With 30 Clubs in the Valley, our Dental Clinic, Charter School, and youth outreach services, BGCAZ positively impacts more than 16,000+ youth and teens every year through four key areas:  Academic Success, Good Character & Leadership, Healthy Lifestyles, and Career Pathways & Workforce Readiness.

Terros Health Team Up with Public and Private Partners to Provide Free Behavioral Health Services to Valley Youth

October 19, 2022

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley and Terros Health will provide free behavioral health services to youth at a time when they need it most, thanks to a collaboration between the Arizona Department of Education and three Arizona-based private foundations – The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation, the Diane & Bruce Halle Foundation, and Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust.

Economic Impact Report Underscores BGCAZ Positive Outcomes on Youth, Community

September 30, 2022

From improved high school graduation rates to reduced teen pregnancy, food insecurity and underage drinking, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley is making a positive, measurable impact on youth and the greater community. These are the findings from a study by the L. William Seidman Research Institute at Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business.

Community Nutrition Programs

September 19, 2022

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley announced its sponsorship of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Child and Adult Care Food Program administered by the Arizona Department of Education, Community Nutrition Programs. Meals will be made available to enrolled participants at no separate charge without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.

Mesa Arts Academy to Offer School Meals for All Students

July 27, 2022

Mesa Arts Academy will be offering healthy meals to all students at no cost every school day in School Year 2022-2023. Your child(ren) will receive free breakfast and lunch meals every school day regardless of your household’s income. Qualifications for children to receive free meals, for your child(ren) to be enrolled in our school. There is no application required.

Whataburger Partners with BGCAZ to Support Students Heading Back to School

July 27, 2022

Whataburger is partnering with Boys & Girls Clubs in 19 cities to host company volunteer events, kicking off the upcoming school year with its first-annual Whataburger Feeding Student Success Back-to-School Program. The company’s latest volunteer initiative supporting students is in honor of the company’s 72nd anniversary.
