Phoenix, AZ — Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley (BGCAZ), in partnership with United FP, a Planet Fitness franchise division, is proud to launch its first-ever Lemonade Day, an exciting, youth-driven business showcase happening Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at five Arizona Planet Fitness locations across the Valley.
This one-day event is the culmination of a comprehensive entrepreneurship and workforce readiness program led by BGCAZ’s AZYouthforce initiative, where young people have developed business plans, crafted their brand identities, and are now taking their concepts live through real-world lemonade stands. Each stand will be independently operated by Club youth who have completed training in budgeting, marketing, and customer service.
Lemonade Day Locations Include:
- Planet Fitness – Apache Junction –3003 W Apache Trail #1, Apache Junction, AZ 85120

Each site will feature Boys & Girls Club-branded lemonade stands offering a variety of unique recipes, from classic favorites to creative fruit fusions. Sales will operate on a donation-based model. Members will keep half of the proceeds as their own profit, and the other half will be donated to local charitable causes selected by the Club members.
“This is more than just selling lemonade—it’s about teaching our Club youth how to plan, lead, and give back,” said, Josh Stine, BGCAZ Vice President of External Affairs. “Thanks to Planet Fitness and the United FP team, our members will have their first opportunity to share their small business with Planet Fitness members. The kids have put in the work, and now they’re stepping into the real world to run their own businesses for a day.”
United FP, a key partner in this initiative, is providing support including tents, tables, and promotional materials, and serves as host for the Lemonade Day experience.
“This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to uplifting today’s youth,” said Greg Roth, United FP Regional Director for Arizona. “We’re excited to welcome these incredible young Club entrepreneurs and be a part of Lemonade Day.”
BGCAZ’s AZYouthforce program prepares teens ages 14–24 for success through immersive career training and paid internships. Lemonade Day focuses on younger members (ages 8-12) and this Lemonade Day serves as a capstone experience that blends workforce readiness with real-world impact.
