Aaliyah M. | Wisotsky Branch

Sixteen-year-old Aaliyah McCormick, a junior at Freedom Prep Academy and member of the Wisotsky Boys & Girls Club, has transformed from a quiet, anxious teen into a confident leader. As the oldest of three sisters, she carries deep responsibility at home and is proud of her thriving Arizona family—including a small “zoo” of pets she adores, especially her cat, Puffin.

At the Club, Aaliyah found the support she needed to overcome anxiety and step into leadership. With guidance from her mentor, Mr. Wade, she discovered her voice and now serves as Keystone President, leading Teen Nights, community events, tutoring, and volunteer work.

A dedicated student on the Dean’s List, she plans to study pediatric nursing at NAU and continue helping children and families.
