BGCAZ Food & Nutrition for youth

Food Program Administered by ADE to Club Kids

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley announced its sponsorship of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Child and Adult Care Food Program administered by the Arizona Department of Education, Community Nutrition Programs. Meals will be made available to enrolled participants at no separate charge without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.

BGCAZ is extremely grateful for community partners like King Koil Mattress Co. in Avondale. King Koil Mattress Co. donated a generous $25,000 recently to support Club kids and the BGCAZ mission! The King Koil Mattress Co. team volunteered their time at the Bob Bové Branch where they also graciously donated 130 backpacks and water bottles to the Club members.

Longtime supporters of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley (BGCAZ), The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation has awarded a $500,000 grant to support ongoing Club operations. The grant comes at a critical time as BGCAZ has had to expand programming during this time of COVID to continue its mission of helping youth and teens develop the skills and resiliency needed to successfully navigate childhood and reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible members of the community.
